Elie Saab is a genius Lebanese designer. I always love his couture designs. This couture 2012 collection was remarkable. Full of pastel colors like pink, mint green, peach, white and baby blue. Instant LOVE with this 2012 couture collection.

want to introduce my friend Elita Purnamasari Hardjadinata, a young & super talented girl.
I met her around 4 months ago in Istituto Italiano di Cultura Jakarta. It was a coincidence. And we had a chat.
She showed me her creation, her designs....Oh My God! She is super talented.

She is only 19!

She woke me up because she makes her dream come true. From that moment I try harder to get my dream come true by entering every competition haha....

Anyway...Those are her master pieces.....

I really love her passion and her energy.
Here is my conversation with her before she goes to Parigi to pursue her dream...

She graduated from SMAK Kolese Santo Yusup, Malang (majoring in science).
Her family background is different with her. Her family is all about business & engineering.


She said that since she was little she always did sketching... and her mother has pattern drafting & sewing skills (no wonder.....).


She took 1 year program in Esmod Jakarta and after that she applied to Ecole de la chambre syndicale de la couture parisienne. It actually 4 years program but the school let her to enter from the 2nd year so she will start school from 2nd year. Means she will spend her time study only 3 years.


Her style is classic romantic. It is showed from her designs. 
She also said that Christian lacroix, Elie Saab, and Marchesa are her favorite designers.


And I asked about what is her future plan after graduated. She said that she wants to work for wellknown designers first to get experiences then she will develop her own brand.


Way to go Elita.
We will wait for your designs...

2011 Project-Colore Della Vita

I've been busy for my 2011 project.
When a competition calls designers to shows their creativity then I felt I'm one of them haha... 

Day and night, I prepared everything.
Concept, fabrics, photoshoot, photographer, models, props and other.
Hoah....a lot of to do.
Busy, exhausted but so happy to do it.

Fashion books

Thanks daddy & abang for the gifts.
I get fashion books: Construction & Developing a collection from daddy. So excited to red those books. I feel that I'm going to attend a class in Fashion school. hohoho.....
And Abang gives me a cute cup warmer. He said because I love coffee so much then he bought the warmer. A thoughtful gifts.

Woolymammoth by Clarice

Clarice (the designer) is my brother's best friend. But since I took fashion seriously, I always have her as my mentor.
She is super talented.
Her style is unique. I can't imagine how to make her designs.
She loves spotlight colors.

In Jakarta Fashion Week 2010 (7 November 2010), she made her Woolymammoth walking down the runway.
Big applause for you Clarice & your Woolymammoth.
